This special event marks the start of our celebrations, offering a relaxing opportunity for all our family and friends to mingle and enjoy exquisite cuisine in a breathtaking setting. Guests will be invited to order from the menu.

Meet in the resort lobby to depart for Haleakala

At an elevation of over 10,000 feet, Haleakalā's sunrises are a celestial ballet of light, casting a golden hue over a vast volcanic landscape steeped in ancient Hawaiian culture and spirituality. Upon entering Haleakalā National Park, you are a guest of the Hawaiian culture, which considers the entire area sacred. Each person should behave as if entering a temple or reverent place in his or her own culture or belief system. The rocks, the plants, and even the silence are part of the sacredness and should not be disturbed. Key aspects of this spiritual land relate to the quietness and sense of place. As dawn breaks, bear witness to our love in this sacred space as we start our lifelong journey together.

The ceremony location will require a short 5-minute hike (10 minutes roundtrip) of 0.2 miles. A video of the path can be viewed here. More information on the Pa Ka’oao Trail is available here. The ceremony will take about 30 minutes. Please expect to stand for the duration of the ceremony.

The farm, situated on the slopes of Haleakala, will provide food grown and prepared locally. We have selected a set menu highlighting the best of what this extraordinary land offers.
